Karen Herrera is a Law Clerk with the Wage Justice Center (WJC). She grew up in the Koreatown neighborhood of Los Angeles and is currently a 3L at Southwestern Law School.

Prior to joining WJC, Karen graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a major in Politics & Latin American Studies. She previously worked with victims of crime to help them obtain legal status and with unhoused veterans to receive cash-benefits and obtain employment.

Most recently, Karen participated in Southwestern’s Eviction Defense Clinic and started at WJC as a Peggy Browning Fund fellow.
