As of Monday, March 1, 2021 Wage Justice Center has a new mailing address. Please direct all correspondence to:
Wage Justice Center
8605 Santa Monica Blvd
West Hollywood, CA 90069
The Wage Justice Center is not accepting new judgment enforcement cases.
Unfortunately, at this time, the Wage Justice Center does not file wage theft claims on behalf of workers; if you’re a victim of wage theft and wish to make a claim, you can seek help from KIWA or Bet Tzedek:
Bet Tzedek hosts a walk-in clinic twice a month: First and Third Wednesday of every month, from 5:30-7pm at their main office – 3250 Wilshire Boulevard, 13th Floor, LA, CA 90010. Appointments are not needed, although you can make one by calling 323.939.0506.
Please note that the Bet Tzedek clinic will NOT operate on July 4. The next Bet Tzedek clinic is scheduled for Wednesday, July 18, same time and same location as above.
Workers can also file claims directly:
- If you work within the State of California, contact the California Labor Commissioner’s Office
- If you work in the City of Los Angeles, contact the L.A. Office of Wage Standards
- If you work in unincorporated L.A. County, contact the County of L.A. Department of Consumer and Business Affairs (DCBA)
- If you work in Santa Monica, visit Santa Monica Minimum Wage Education and Enforcement
The Wage Justice Center does not handle workplace related retaliation or discrimination cases. Please contact your local Bar Association for referrals.
We are only taking new cases for day laborers or construction workers who qualify for Mechanic’s Liens. For more information, please visit our page about our day laborer project.
Unfortunately, due to our capacity constraints, we do not meet with walk-ins; we only see clients by appointment.
